The couple stop by Studio 814 to share delicious sides, breaded shrimp and a delicious pumpkin alfredo sauce recipe. Don’t worry, if you can’t imagine the idea of combining seafood and pumpkin… it’s not what you think. “At first I expected it to taste like pumpkin pie, but you really only get a hint of pumpkin, and the sauce is creamy and flavorful,” says the co- host Morgan Koziar.
Western Edge Seafood Outlet is located in Duncansville at Hollidaysburg Square near Wendy’s and Ollie’s. The store offers a variety of seafood including crab cakes, crab legs and a range of fish. They also have sides like hush puppies, onion rings, and lobster mac and cheese.
With the holiday season approaching, there are plenty of easy-to-go, grab-and-go items that are easy to put together for an awesome spread.
Each month, Kyle and Shannon host a Seafood Night, where the public is invited to come out to sample a variety of in-store produce. This month, for the month of October, they are hosting a Spooktacular Seafood Social on Saturday, October 22 from noon to 5 p.m. There will be bags of candy, hot chocolate and seafood samples. Costumed customers will receive 10% off their entire order.
