For most of us, Maggi is synonymous with instant noodles and instantly takes us down memory lane. Boiled noodles, mixed with the instant masala premix, it gets us swallowed in no time. While researching, we came across a video by food vlogger Parul, where she shared the recipe and showed how to make Mumbai Chinese Maggi masala. She shared the video on her YouTube channel “Cook With Parul”. Take a look at the recipe.
How to make Mumbai’s famous Chinese Maggi Masala:
To make this dish, we need noodles, salt, red pepper sauce, soy sauce, tomato ketchup, green pepper sauce, oil, garlic, minced ginger, onion, green pepper, green pepper, red pepper, yellow pepper, carrot, cabbage, black pepper powder, Maggi masala, split red pepper. And to garnish, we need a little green onion.
Worried to see such an elaborate list of ingredients?! Don’t worry, the dish is easier than ever. You only need 15 minutes to prepare the dish.
To start, boil the noodles without breaking them. Then mix the boiled Maggi in oil. Add the sauces and mix everything together. Set aside.
Then, heat some oil in another frying pan and add the minced garlic, ginger and fry. Add chopped onion, green chilli and cook until onion becomes tender. Then add the peppers, carrot, cabbage and sauté. Then add salt according to your taste, pepper powder and Maggi masala and mix everything. Also add green chilli.
Finally, add the already sautéed noodles to it, cook everything together and turn off the heat within a minute. Finally, garnish with spring onions and serve hot.
